Euro School Chhauni shines at the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions held at Yale University

Kathmandu, Nov. 14 — Students from Euro School Chhauni have made Nepal proud with exceptional performance in the recently held World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions at Yale University from November 6 to 12. The global academic competition, known for its rigorous challenges and vibrant cultural exchange, saw some outstanding performances by both Junior and Senior category participants representing the school in this event.

In the Junior Category, the team consisted of Aarushi Shrestha and Aditi Suvedi from Grade 8. They performed well, grabbing 12th position among hundreds of teams participating around the globe. It reflects academic excellence along with the rising presence of Nepali students on international platforms.

Individually, Aarushi Shrestha secured the 39th position out of the entire world’s participation in the Individual Writing Challenge. In overall events, she managed to proudly bring home 3 gold and 3 silver medals. Her teammate Aditi Suvedi was also one of the participants showing strong competitive spirit, winning 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

In the Senior Category, the participants Evan Sayami and Liza Parajuli showed equally amazing skills. Their team won 1 gold medal in the Scholars Bowl-a fast-paced quiz event that tests teamwork, knowledge, and strategy. They also managed to secure 2 silver medals in the “Barely Old Scholar Team” category, adding to the school’s overall success at the tournament.

These achievements of young scholars reflect not only their dedication and hard work but also the growing academic standards of Euro School Chhauni, along with their global engagement. This current success at Yale University is a proud moment for the school, their families, and the nation, underlining Nepal’s emerging talent in international academic competitions.
